Project and Contract Management
Back to ServicesWe offer our specialist expertise in project and contract management to clients in 5 ways:
- Project Development
- Full Project Delivery
- Interim Management and Staff Augmentation
- Project Rescue
- Consultation
Full Project Delivery – The voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors are entering into an exciting period of change. Funders and donors are demanding more accountability and concrete outcomes from the organisations they fund. Many VCOs currently struggle to attract skilled and experienced staff even with current improved salary levels in the sector.
CDSE offers clients the secure, effective and affordable option of outsourcing project delivery to its experienced team. We can take over the delivery of projects and deliver agreed outputs and outcomes. We have been very successful in helping clients achieve agreed outputs and outcomes and averting project failures.
Interim Management and Staff Augmentation - Our project management activity also covers interim management and staff augmentation roles. Project staff may leave their posts for various reasons e.g. better paid jobs, illness, or retirement. Our experienced associates can take up interim roles often at short notice, or take complete control of such projects to manage and deliver externally.
We can also provide new and/or inexperienced staff our shadowing service that ensures they are guided and supported in the early stages of their new roles.
Project ‘Rescue’ - Our rescue services are also popular with funders with links to strategic projects. Their interest in such projects often encourages them to find ways of rescuing them when they experience difficulties; CDSE supports grantmakers and other stakeholders to ‘rescue’ such projects.
Consultation - We understand that effective projects are always grounded in a clear understanding of user and community need. We develop and implement consultation strategies using facilitated meetings, interviews, surveys and review of existing research.
